Pre-Tattoo Directions:

1. Apply a thin layer of salve twice daily to area that will be tattooed.
2. Repeat for 7 days (or more) prior to tattoo session. 

Tattoo Application Directions:

1. If your artist doesn't already use Surly Sam's, take your jar with you and ask them to apply your tattoo with it.  The salve will not clog needles or remove the stencil, but WILL keep skin calm and workable.
2. Thank your artist for using Surly Sam's so you can heal faster, sit longer, and ease inflammation for your new art.

Tattoo Aftercare Directions:

1. Apply a thin layer of salve to clean tattoo.
2. Repeat as often as necessary for new tattoo. (Everyone is different and lives in different climates.  Apply as needed so tattoo doesn't "dry out".)
3. Once tattoo has healed, apply as needed to keep color fresh and skin nourished.
